summary: those complaints comprise the papers provided on the 1stAsian Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics held in Sydney, on 20-23 November 2001. The subject of the 1st Congress of the Asian-Pacific organization for Computational Mechanics within the new millennium is New Frontiers for the hot Millennium. The papers hide such new frontiers as micromechanics, touch mechanics, environmental geomechanics, chemo-thermo-mechanics, inverse ideas, homogenization, meshless tools, shrewdpermanent materials/smart buildings and image visualization, along with the overall subject matters relating to the appliance of finite aspect and boundary aspect tools in structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, geomechanics and biomechanics

This RDLM is able to generate nodes symmetrically from the datum line in the object domain. This node generation is able to be performed the triangulation which is similar in shape to an equilateral triangle. However the RDLM doesn't necessarily generate required shape, especially near the boundary. It is necessary to modify the mesh near the boundary. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to obtain better mesh quality for the finite element analysis from the modification of triangulation using the result of the RDLM.

Ap) + FExf) - am aEj (9) Let M again include the total mass of interface nodes. aP) (10) Nodes fully in the implicit partition are updated the same way, but without the Fm/ loading from explicit elements. The Newmark formulae can then be used to recover velocities and accelerations from the displacements, if these are found first, or to find velocities and displacements from accelerations. ANALYSIS OF THE ELEMENT INTERFACE The element interface has been studied using model problems. As, for the partitioned algorithm, modal analysis cannot be used to relate a model problem to the general case, stability is also studied by analysis of energy changes.
